Home Information Pack (HIP) changes
As from 6th April 2009, there have been two changes to HIPs:
- Introduction of Property Information Questionnaire (PIQ)
- The removal of the temporary first day marketing exemption, now part of the HIP
must be in place before the property can be marketed:
- The Index
- Title Documents
- Sale Statement
- EPCs
If you are a home owner, an Estate Agent or a Solicitor, UsefulHomes can help you
compile your Home Information Pack
(HIP) quickly, economically and stress free.
Home Information Packs (HIPs) are now mandatory for all properties being put on the
market. Home sellers have to
produce a HIP for prospective buyers when they put their property
on the market. Getting the right advice and the
proper support is essential to the smooth running
of your sale.
